D.Med Healthcare Group donated dialysis machines to hospitals in Ghana

April 2015, Accra/ Kumasi

D.Med Healthcare Group donated four dialysis machines in total to the Police Hospital in Accra and to the Peace and Love Hospital in Kumasi.

“We decided to help and support people in Ghana to give them a better life. I am of the hope that the relationships created by the donations would be the beginning of a long-term partnership in which the organisations would mutually support each other for the benefit of patients”, so Sven-Axel Krentorz, President of the D.Med Healthcare Group.

Both hospitals expressed their deep gratitude on behalf of the team and patients: “We are grateful for this expression of care about the health of others as the hospital does not have the financial resources to buy brand new dialysis machines due to the current situation in Ghana”, so Seidu Mahammadu Zachariah, Medical Director of the Police Hospital in Accra.

“We appreciate the timely donation of these machines and wish to assure you of their judicious use for the benefit of needy patients in our part of the country”, so Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai, CEO of the Peace and Love Hospitals in Ghana.

The D.Med Healthcare Group plans to expand its social responsibility and will donate 15 dialysis machines to hospitals across the country by the end of the year.
