What You’ll Do

• Architect and lead the development and rollout of cloud-based applications for healthcare, focusing on connectivity for medical devices.
• Assemble and guide cross-functional teams of cloud developers, security specialists, and medical experts to ensure successful realization of IoT-driven solutions.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to achieve highly scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
• Develop cloud and communication strategies aligned with HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR requirements, ensuring solutions remain compliant with industry regulations.
• Integrate cloud-based healthcare solutions with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, and other medical data exchange standards.
• Ensure robust identity and access management (IAM) to protect sensitive patient data.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and regulatory teams to enhance cloud operations and maintain high security standards.
• Implement disaster recoveryand backup strategies to safeguard patient and business continuity.
• Develop comprehensive documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services for medical applications with an emphasis on IoT.
• Experience in HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
• Ability to design solutions that consider regional and country regulations for data privacy, cybersecurity, and data localization.
• Proficiency in cloud security, IAM, and encryption for healthcare data protection.
• Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Strong proficiency in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), experience with CloudFormation, Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps).
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect) are preferred.
• Knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#).
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Broad and deep understanding of Agile
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German or Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with medical device software development (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485 compliance).
• Knowledge of IoT in medical devices and remote patient monitoring.
• Understanding of AI/ML deployment in healthcare applications.
