As part of our latest expansion we are looking for an ambitious and motivated new team member as:
Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
- Monitor inventory and sales inquiries in order to plan stock in time
- Place orders and monitor orders in the way to avoid shortages
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
- Managing daily, monthly and quarterly reports
- Handle recalls and/or complaints along with other departments
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
- Evaluate documentation in order to be in line with national and/or international regulations and standards depending on future market placing
Your profile:
- University degree (Medical, Pharmaceutical or Dental Medicine University preferably)
- Proven experience of 1 year in sales/procurement/customer service business mandatory
- Proven experience in dialysis field will be taken as advantage
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken), knowledge of German language will be taken as advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ambitious, motivated and proactive
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Open minded, flexible and team-oriented person
- Flexibility to learn new products and new market requirements over time
- Ability to present and implement new strategies and ideas
- Dedication to continual self-improvement through frequent feedback and coaching
- PC literacy
- Valid driving license (B category)
