We do not hesitate to give back to society, to be among the first to support during environmental or pandemic crises, and to contribute to a better future for children suffering from poverty around the world.
Here is a glimpse into our sustainability journey and the related initiatives around the world:
The Phone Donation Initiative is a global initiative in which our branches around the world have participated. This particular project stems from the need to preserve the environment and to take care of humanity as best we can. In association with Missio, an international missionary society, D.med participated in the phone collection project.
By recycling valuable raw materials from old cell phones, there is a reduction in mining activities and child labour. In addition to this, part of the profits received by Missio from the donation of cell phones goes to the Schutzengel campaign to help families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The response to the donation box placed in our offices was positive. This is because the well-being of both humans and the environment matter to us at D.med.
For years, D.med has been in partnership with SOS-Kinderdorf Weltweit, to sponsor medical care projects in Zimbabwe. In addition, we have been supporting different child sponsorships in Costa Rica and Vietnam.
With a monthly payment, we help provide stable and consistent care for children who cannot stay with their biological families.

Düsseldorf plays an important role in our history. This is where many of our businesses started from, and today the city hosts one of our global headquarters.
In July 2021, a community just 70 km from Düsseldorf lost lives and property due to a devastating flood that ravaged the region.
In the wake of this tragedy, we immediately responded to Aktion Deutschland Hilft’s call for support in building up the affected areas.
We are very proud to see our staff joining our company’s efforts to provide support to Ukrainian refugees.
Our team members in Germany and other regions have helped Ukrainian refugees in many different ways: by making donations, organizing shelter, and providing other assistance like accompanying refugees to medical appointments and to different authorities. We are very proud of each one of them!
For example, Darja, one of our colleagues from our headquarters in Düsseldorf, who with her family spontaneously decided to accommodate refugees from Kyiv.
Until the end of this devastating war, we – as a company and as individuals – pledge to continue to do what we can, in order to help those facing hardship in light of this terrible humanitarian crisis.

The recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria has shaken the world and left behind a trail of destruction, affecting countless families and communities. D.med Healthcare Group stands in solidarity with those affected and is taking action to support the relief efforts.
This earthquake is a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the need for us to come together and support one another in times of crisis. Our contribution to the relief efforts, both through the Aktion Deutschland Hilft organization and our local efforts, reflects our values and our commitment at D.med Group to making a positive impact.
