D.med Healthcare has completed the divestment of its subsidiary D.Med Medical Services India to Nipro Renal Care India, mastering the very specific challenges of the Indian healthcare market. Effective from April 1, 2020, NRC India acquired D.med’s stake in DMMS India taking over the role as a leading consortium member in the Public-Private Partnership on Dialysis with the state of Telangana with D.med remaining in the consortium as QM consultant. DMMS India started its operations in November 2017 creating a network of 40 dialysis clinics with more than 2,000 patients and made Telangana the first Indian state to offer public single-use dialysis lifting the treatment of kidney failure to an unprecedented level of quality. “We wish Nipro Renal Care India best of luck with the further development of this project.
