At D.med, we also put our focus on sustainability and social responsibility: we digitalize more and travel less – but in some business units our hands are (almost) tied. The “mail-order business”, and package shipping is a major operation in our daughter company, Zückerli Group.

 

Therefore, Zückerli joined a new initiative in cooperation with DHL- the GoGreen solutions, to offset emissions, the program GoGreen supports high-quality climate protection projects worldwide.

 

This move has reduced the amount of carbon released during the delivery of medical supplies to consumers around the World. In India, wind power is being used as an alternative fuel source, in Vietnam where biogas is used, and in Brazil where renewable energy sources are now adopted during delivery.

Zückerli is already in motion with branches spread across Hamburg, Witten, Nettetal, Marburg, Stadtallendorf and Wetzlar. Together and step by step we are making sustainable contributions to protect our Mother Earth.
